Robby and I pulled out the rolling pin today to make gingerbread cookies for Christmas. We used a whole wheat recipe, which I don’t recommend (cookies should taste like cookies!), but we had a lot of fun, using our animal shaped cookie cutters from Williams Sonoma and decorating them with sprinkles, sprinkles, and more sprinkles. The kitchen was a mess afterward, but the good news is that I may have a baker on my hands!
Oh, and speaking of sweet things, isn’t this the best picture? Three generations: My mom, me, and my baby girl. Thanksgiving Day 2010. Love it!
